出發去Oriental Bangkok食lunch,路經i-Residence隔離間「M記」,一定要同sawadeka造型既麥當勞叔叔合照留念喇!![]()

出發前已send email去Oriental book定位,點知「陰差陽錯」,搞到我地冇得坐river view window seats靚位!![]()
事緣我地想book「Le Normandie」食lunch,利用酒店website attached既email address去訂位,點知個email address係處理哂咁多間酒店餐廳既bookings既,負責果位同事又自以為是地以為我地係book另一間叫「Lord Jim」既餐廳,就reply我地11:30am要到達~
咁我又一時無為意個staff book錯餐廳,就好傻仔地11:30am去到「Le Normandie」~![]()


點知......間餐廳d staff見到我地都「O」哂嘴囉,因為餐廳opening hours係12pm,所以無理由會叫我地11:30am來開餐~
追查之下先知道當中有誤會,雖然有avaliable seats安排比我地,但就唔係river side個靚view囉!唔制呀~
好在d野食好好味 + waiters服務周到,咁條氣都順番d~![]()
P.S.所以如果想online reservationz既朋友,一定要o係email講明係book邊間餐廳呀!如果唔係好似我地咁搞錯哂就掃興喇~![]()
講番「Le Normandie」呢間法國餐廳,係Oriental Bangkok裝潢最靚既餐廳。有專用既電梯,感覺有d似Peninsula Hong Kong既「Gaddi's」法國餐廳~![]()


來得呢d高級餐廳,預左會有dress code限制,我地都帶定合適既衫褲鞋襪來~

由於之前提及既誤會,我地11:30am就到左。踏入餐廳見到個river side景色都呆左一呆,真係幾靚!![]()


餐廳裝潢好grand,但同Island Shangri-La既「Restaurant Petrus」或Peninsula既「Gaddi's」比,都係香港既法國餐廳優勝~
但若以價錢來講,呢度既價錢真係親民好多,服務同食物質素有番咁上下,值得一試~![]()
一入去有waiter專程拎張凳仔比我放手袋,好proper喎!![]()

我地冇得坐river view window seats,但都被安排o係city view既window seats坐,better than none~![]()


Lunch有set menu亦有A La Carte,我地每人order左個set menu (THB $1150/person),另外再點左兩樣A La Carte -- Duck liver同roast mushroom cappuccino soup試下~![]()



先來係免費既法包,有多種選擇,食完唔夠可以添食,但食咁多包一陣仲邊有位食正餐喎?!所以只係求其揀左兩款試下~![]()
「Le Normandie」既包水準有番咁上下,真係想encore多一round,但要禁住自己留肚食更好味既野~
唯一要彈既係,牛油得一款,唔似得普遍既法國餐廳都會at least提供salted同無鹽牛油比食客選擇。而且牛油味道麻麻,似普通貨~![]()
正如前篇blog所講,來得意大利/法國餐廳食飯,就算menu講明包drinks,都會係食完先order飲品的,所以要預左另外「科水」另點一杯飲品~
Jay點左杯Cappuccino,好得意,d糖整到成支攪拌棒咁,一路攪一路溶,好似好好玩咁~
我就order左杯juice,另外我地開左支Sparkling water (THB $300)~

先來一道蕃茄moss醒胃菜,呢道菜係excluded in the menu which is free of charge~![]()

之後就到starter,我揀左吞拿魚「Marinated red tuna fillet, caper rillette with couscous and green mustard」;Jay就點左牛「Variation of beef with argon oil scented garden greens and golden croutons」~
簡直可以用食、香、味來形容!
首先一睇隻碟已經靚爆,加上餸菜賣相顏色多樣,睇見已可令人食慾大增!
味道亦好得,下次來Bangkok一定會encore~![]()
最令人impressed既係每上一道菜都係冇sauce既,一個waiter o係你左手邊放低隻碟,另一個waiter就o係你右手邊倒sauce,同一時間有兩個人serve緊你~
而我地兩個同時上菜,即係有4人同步serve我地呢檯!感覺好似做左豪客咁~![]()




再來既係A La Carte既點菜,我揀左「Panfried escalope of duck liver with grape sauce」(THB $690),鴨肝煎得好香又冇窿味,加埋grape sauce,醒胃又唔滯!Oishi~![]()
Jay點左「Roast mushroom cappuccino soup with dried porcini mushrooms, almond flakes and truffle oil emulsion」(THB $350),個湯好香濃好smooth,加上松露既香味,又係好味到「lam lam利」~![]()




跟住就上main course,我揀既「Braised pork jelly, red cabbage confit and dark beer pan jus」雖然都好好味,但compare with Jay既「Roasted duck breast with orange, verjus, polenta and duck leg rillette」比,我一定會揀後者~![]()
Pork jelly口感幾特別,但個sauce我就覺得冇Jay個duck breast咁搶,佢個sauce加埋幼嫩juicy既鴨胸肉,真係諗起都留口水~![]()





最後就係來到重頭戲 -- dessert trolley~ 未來之前已經知道呢度既甜品好出名,出名在唔止味道好,仲有係賣相超靚~![]()
食完main course後,waiter就會推架蛋糕車埋來,上面有多款蛋糕比我地任選兩件。揀好後,就會o係碟上用唔同顏色既糖漿畫花,仲要係唔洗2 mins完成果隻,速度之快、圖案之美,真係令人睇到拍爛手掌!![]()

嘩~~超多美食...搞到我流晒口水
